Farmway Credit Union prides ourselves on giving back to the communities we serve. To more efficiently manage the multiple sponsorship and donation requests we receive each year, we have transitioned to an online application process.
It’s simple to apply, just fill out the request form at the bottom of this page at least three weeks prior to your event. All request forms are reviewed as soon as possible. We prefer that all donation requests or sponsorship requests use this form to file the request. Email, handwritten notes and verbal requests should accompany this form.
We wish we could donate to everyone that applies, but since we cannot, please know that every request that benefits our communities as a whole will be considered.
FCU will consider the following when granting a charitable contribution:
- Relevancy and impact to a majority of Farmway Credit Union’s membership.
- Fulfillment and benefit to the community at large.
- Tax exempt organizations which operate for diverse charitable, recreational, educational, health and general welfare needs of the entire community.
- Joint activities with groups or associations within our field-of-membership.
FCU typically does not provide sponsorship support for:
- Political campaigns, candidates, parties or partisan activities.
- Social outings, parties, alumni banquets, family reunions, and similar activities.
- Organizations, programs and events held outside our market.
- Individual pursuits or interest or for the benefit of a for-profit business.
- Any group that represents a conflict of interest for Farmway Credit Union.
- Individual sport activities including travel or competition costs, recitals or pageants.
- Humanitarian projects outside our areas of operation.
- Direct contributions to individuals or families in crisis.
- Trips, travel or cultural exchange programs.
- Organizations/events that discriminate against any persons or organization with the respect to their race, religion, color, sex, age, national origin, gender, height, weight, medical condition, marital status, sexual orientation, veteran status, disability, or any other legally protected status.
